Compassion International
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter, Sheryl. From everything I have heard, Sheryl was not only a beautiful, young lady on the outside, but equally beautiful on the inside. Her sponsorship of a needy child in Thailand, as well as her decision to become an organ donor, indicate her warm, generous and kind heart and I know how very proud you must have been of Sheryl and her influence on others. While I can’t begin to imagine the shock or the pain of your loss, I do know that this event did not take God by surprise and that you can rest assured of His goodness even in the midst of your pain. You can trust Him . . . even with this.
I was also notified of your thoughtful request for donations to be made to Compassion’s ministry in lieu of flowers. Many poor and needy children will receive much-needed assistance in honor of Sheryl’s memory, and on behalf of a very grateful ministry I want to thank you for your kindness to us.
Be assured of the support and prayers from Compassion’s worldwide ministry during your time of grief, and rest in the solid assurance that you will see Sheryl again one of these days in Heaven.
I’m praying for you both and for your entire family.
Sincerely in Him,
Wess Stafford, President and CEO
