Gymnastics Friend

My deepest condolences go out to your family. I have known Sheryl since Middle School and all throughout High School. Out of school we used to do gymnastics together in Middle School. I considered her to be one of my really close friends and I hope she did too during our Middle School years together.

I think the reason why we got along so well was because we are both really "unique" in that weird yet awesome way. One of my favorite memories of her was when we used to play "connect-the-dots". We both have freckles so she came up with the idea of connecting them together with a pen to make shapes on our arms and legs.

Another thing I remember about Sheryl is that she was very talented. I remember at Gymnastics how she was so flexible and fearless. Her being one of the eldest of the class, I looked up to her and I'm sure many others did too. She showed no fear and was a very brave, courageous soul.

Although her passing is painful to all the loved ones she left behind, it is a testimony to many others. Her life and her story can be an inspiration to share. Just as Sheryl's bright, cheery smile was an uplifting inspiration to many that needed hope, I know that Sheryl will live on in many people's hearts who she touched and memories that were made. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and God bless.

Love,

Michele
